Social Media Policy ICD-138

Social media, encompassing websites and various digital platforms, refers to online platforms and applications that enable users to create, share and interact with content generated by other users or organizations. These platforms facilitate communication, networking, content sharing and collaboration among individuals and groups. Users can typically engage with social media through posting text, images, videos and other multimedia content, as well as interacting with others through comments, likes, shares and direct messaging.

Social media platforms range from general-purpose networks like Facebook, X and Instagram to specialized platforms focusing on specific interests such as LinkedIn for professional networking or TikTok for short-form video content.
