Exemptions

Optimist Junior Golf offers a limited number of exemptions into the 2025 Optimist International Junior Golf Championship held at Trump National Doral Resort (Miami, Florida) as listed below. Golfers who have earned an exemption are not required to play in an Optimist District tournament to attempt to qualify (but may do so if they choose). Golfers who are eligible for an exemption will be sent information on how to register online for the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship prior to May 1.

Exemptions
(1) The top finishers in each age division from the 2024 Optimist International Junior Golf Championship as follows: Boys 10-11 (top 5); Boys 12-13 (top 5); Boys 14-15 (top 5); Boys 16-18 (top 8) and Girls 10-12 (top 5); Girls 13-14 (top 5) and Girls 15-18 (top 8).

(2) Any previous age division champion of the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship.

(3) The top finishers from the 2024 Optimist International Tournament of Champions as follows: Boys 11-13 (top 5); Boys 14-15 (top 5); Boys 16-18 (top 8) and Girls 11-13 (top 5); Girls 14-18 (top 5) plus ties.
